For nine days, Youngcare supporters will trek approximately 230km across the Munga-Thirri Simpson Desert and conquer harsh weather and scale endless sand dunes in the process.
The completely isolated environment and tough conditions provide a striking reflection of the challenges that young people with complex physical disabilities face on a daily basis. Put simply, the challenge pales in comparison.
