For nine days, Youngcare supporters will trek more than 225km across the Simpson Desert and conquer harsh weather and scale endless sand dunes in the process.

The completely isolated environment and tough conditions provide a striking reflection of the challenges that young people with high physical support needs face on a daily basis. Put simply, the challenge pales in comparison.
