I'm trekking the 10 Peaks Challenge for Youngcare
I’m taking on the 10 Peaks Challenge on behalf of Bretts Timber & Hardware to push beyond my comfort zone while supporting a cause that truly makes a difference in people’s lives. This challenge will test me both physically and mentally, but meaningful growth comes from stepping up to difficult goals. Climbing ten peaks isn’t just about reaching the summit — it’s about the discipline, resilience and determination built along the way. More importantly, it’s about using this opportunity to raise awareness and funds for a charity doing incredible work in our community.
Youngcare is fighting for freedom, dignity and choice for young people with complex and permanent physical disabilities — empowering them to choose where they live, who they live with, and how they live their lives.
Youngcare is Bretts Timber & Hardware’s charity of choice. They are an incredible organisation, and whenever there is an opportunity to support Youngcare, Bretts proudly does so. Youngcare supports young people with high care needs, helping them live with dignity, independence and choice — something everyone deserves. Knowing that every step up those mountains can contribute to such an important mission gives this challenge real purpose.
I’m proud to be representing Bretts Timber & Hardware in the 10 Peaks Challenge and even prouder to support Youngcare through this journey.
Please donate to the page and show your support. Donations directly help young people with physical disabilities live the lives they deserve.

FUNDRAISING TIPS
Jazz up your page and include photo’s and details on what you’re undertaking for Youngcare. This shows your potential donors why you care and how their support will be making a difference in young people’s lives.
Lead the way and add a donation to yourself first to show your commitment as well as encouraging others to support you!
Make a promise to your donors, if you reach a certain fundraising target you’ll… go without coffee, run an extra 10km, or anything else that might motivate your supporters to give more – plus it’s a great way to incentivise your donors and keep them connected with your challenge!
Connect your fundraising page to your social media and update all your friends and family on your progress. Use our resources above to help spread the word!
Update your email signature with our personalized email signatures. Email everyone you know and tell them what you’re planning and how they can support you!
Ask your workplace if they are able to help support by matching every dollar you raise
Either in person, or virtual, a fundraising event is a great fun way of raising funds and awareness. Think a bake sale, car wash, zoom trivia night, work morning tea, or in lieu of a birthday or celebration, ask your friends and family to donate to your page!
If you have any questions at all regarding fundraising for the 10 Peaks Challenge, get in contact with Youngcare!
